Trent Caravan Services is a mobile caravan and motorhome workshop and makes servicing your motorhome as convenient as possible; saving you time and expense by us travelling to you - whether that’s to your home or wherever your motorhome is stored.

Our motorhome habitation servicing ensures your vehicle is safe for use (gas, electric and appliances) and that regular annual servicing can maintain your investment in your motorhome. For engines, gearbox components and MOTs you will need a mechanical engineer as we do not offer this.

AWS qualification, Approved Workshop Scheme, means that most UK manufacturers allow Trent Caravan Services to perform a habitation service to your motorhome whilst maintaining the manufacturer’s warranty.

Trained to National Caravan Council, (NCC) standards, a member of Mobile Caravan Engineers Association (MCEA) and a qualified AWS (Approved Workshop Scheme) engineer there’s no need to look any further for someone to service, maintain or repair your motorhome.

A motorhome habitation service typically includes:

• Bodywork - seals and doors, operation of step if there is one, checked
• Gas checks - all hoses & pipes are checked for dates, damage/cracks and leaks, tightness test
• Water - water tanks, hoses and pipes checked for leaks, taps checked for operation and leaks, toilet for operation.
• Appliances - space heater, water heater, fridge, cooker all checked for correct operation on gas and electric
• Sockets, consumer units and fuse boxes - checked for operation and working within correct tolerances, RCD tested and recorded.
• Alarms - smoke alarms, CO alarms and fire extinguishers are checked and recorded.
• Damp test - to manufacturers requirements and recorded.

All findings recorded on AWS paperwork. If any faults or problems are found this will be recorded on the paperwork and talked through with you. Should any additional work need doing it will only be done with your consent, nothing added to your invoice without you being informed first.
